| Abstract: | This paper presents a one-dimensional unsteady flow model and a numerical procedure based on the model. Comparisons between the theory and full scale experiments in a railway tunnel show that the model is capable of produce precise predictions for piston wind and pollutant concentration in railway tunnels. |
