| Abstract: | This paper introduces the type and performance of the steel rope, and analyses the main bearing force of the steel rope too. it points out that in order to prolong the service life of the steel rope used on the port’s crane, it is necessary to evaluate correctly the service life and abandoning standard of the steel rope. Also it puts forward a few measures which can prolong relatively the service life of the steel rope. |
