New Technology Research and Practice of Port's Energy - Saving and Consumption-Reducing

The contradiction between rapid development of national economy and bottleneck of resources becomes more and more severe.Building up a society of resource-saving and favorable environment has become one of the important developing strategies of the country.By taking the advantages of various advanced techniques of energy-saving and consumption-reducing and combining with effective management,SIPG continually launches movements for energy conservation and creation,optimizes operation process,raises operation efficiency,and cuts down operation cost.This paper introduces in detail the researches and practices of the new techniques for conserving energy and reducing consumption in Shanghai Port,including electricity superseding oil RTG,hybrid-power RTG,RTG tyre retreading,frequency conversion of gantry crane,and energy-saving head-over light.
