Abstract:In order to improve the vehicle speed on Shinkansen,it is necessary to improve the output power,reduce the volume,the mass and the noise generated by the power supply equipment.Three types of power supply equipment developed for the E954 Shinkansen high speed test train-sets are described in this paper.
