Environment Protection Technology Applied in Construction of Deep Foundation Pit of Yingkoudao Metro Station

Due to the ground settlement and water/soil loss in areas around the foundation pits, the construction of the deep foundation pits of open-cut Metro stations can result in settlements and deformations of surrounding buildings. Due to the extremely complex environment around Yingkoudao station of Tianjin Metro, the surrounding buildings and underground utilities can be severely impacted, even disastrous results can be resulted in, if proper countermeasures are not taken. On basis of the construction of Yingkoudao station, the article summarizes the environment protection experience in the construction of the deep foundation pits of open-cut Metro station under complex situations.
