The Analysis on the Difference from Observing the Altitude by Sextant |

| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the causes of vertical difference from observing the altitude by sextant on board ship. The property of the difference is discussed, and the modified formula and measures for reducing or dispelling the difference are given. |
