基于视频检测的车辆闯红灯违章研究

目前交通拥挤日益严重,交通事故不断加剧。而多数交通事故的发生主要是由驾驶员违章行车造成,其中驾驶员闯红灯即是交通安全隐患的潜在因素之一。利用基于视频检测技术的车辆闯红灯自动抓拍系统,采集来自哈尔滨市东直路黑龙江工程学院侧门路段处的违章数据,从违章时间、违章速度、违章车型以及违章时红灯启亮时间等方面对数据进行分析,并给出相应的交通管理对策。

Study on red light violation based on the video detection

Nowadays, traffic congestion is becoming serious increasingly and the more and more vehicles are being involved in fatal crashes. However, the occurrence of most traffic accidents is related to the violation running by divers and the running of red light violation is a major transportation safety challenge. This paper employs the automated capture system for red light violation, collects the violation data from roadways in Heilongjiang Institute of technology, makes statistics analysis for the relevant variables, such as the time (in hours) when the violation occurred, the vehicle speed at the time of the violation, the elapsed time from the onset of red signal until the time of the violation, and that presents the proposed traffic management strategies, which are very important to study the traffic system safety.
