Urban rail traffic belongs to the common product,judging from urban rail traffic lines which already have put into operation,because of their large initial cost and long pay-off period,we can find that there are very few lines which can get profit both home and abroad.But urban rail traffic can tremendously promote the local city's economic growth,Its macroscopic social benefit far exceeds its microcosmic economic effect.The ar- ticle has introduced a method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to evaluate the social benefits of urban rail traffic using the example of Chengdu subway,to expect that can provide a reference to the urban rail traffic investment decision in future.
