车辆造型设计渲染中基于全局光照理论下的真实感与实时性研究

摘    要:车辆造型渲染对于真实感的追求通常基于光照模型理论,不同的光照模型对于真实感表现不同,对生成真实感的照片图像至关重要。以基于全局光照模型中的光线追踪算法真实感表达能力最强,算法最为复杂,但因其模拟于真实世界的物理光线传播的特性,计算成本非常高昂,故其不流畅的交互体验无法被应用于造型展示情境等各类交互式场景。当今随着硬件技术的提升,全局光照模型中的光线追踪技术已经逐渐可以被用于实时渲染,不过仍然需要通过计算减重的算法实现质量换取速度,但在很多工业领域中其展示的质量与速度也取得了一定的平衡。真实感与展示实时性是车辆造型渲染的主要追求目标,利用计算机图形学领域的研究成果使车辆造型渲染同时兼顾真实感与展示实时性,研究成果将指引未来车辆造型渲染及展示评审的建设方向。

Research on Realism and Real-Time Based on Global Illumination Theory in Rendering of Automotive Design

Abstract:The pursuit of reality in vehicle design rendering is usually based on the theory of lighting models.Different lighting models have different performances for reality, which is crucial to generating photorealistic images. The ray tracing algorithm based on the global illumination model has the strongest ability to express realism, and its algorithm is the most complex. However, because its principle is to simulate the physical light propagation characteristics of the real world, the calculation cost is very high. Therefore, its unsmooth interactive experience cannot be applied to various interactive scenarios such as review of vehicle design rendering. Today, with the improvement of hardware technology, the ray tracing algorithm technology based on the global illumination model can gradually be used for real-time rendering, but it is still necessary to achieve quality in exchange for speed by calculating the weight reduction algorithm, but in many industrial fields, it shown that the quality and speed of the output have also achieved a certain balance. Realism and real-time display are the main goals of vehicle modeling rendering. The research results in the field of computer graphics are used to make vehicle modeling rendering take into account both reality and real-time display. The research results will guide the development and construction direction of future vehicle design rendering and vehicle design review.
