Flowing for more than 3000km,the yangtse constitutes china's main east/west transport artery in order to speed up the industrialization and opening up of the vast landmass of china's middle and westem regions,the government has taken resolute steps in updationg the yangtse river transport corrider and speed up the mulitimodal transport.
