交通视频检测中采集到的视频图像一般都会有不可避免的阴影存在，由于计算机无法很好地识别图像中的阴影，很可能会造成检测错误，引起一系列负面效应。提出一种进行阴影检测的归一化互相关函数法，并对一个实例进行仿真。

Traffic Flow Shadow Detection by Method of Normalized Correlation Function

The video images collected by traffic flow detection system normally inevitably have shadows.As the computer cannot effectively identify these shadows in images,it's very likely that there may cause detection mistakes leading to a series of adverse effects.This paper presents the method of normalized correlation function for shadow detection and a practical case's simulation.
