| Abstract: | A general view of design and construction of the exterior-protected structure of foundation pit on Nanjing metro line 1 and the west extension line are introduced in terms of the geological condition of Nanjing and its surrounding areas. The underground continuous wall, SMW method, drilled joint pile should be adopted in the construction to safely and effectively excavate deep foundation pit. |
