| Abstract: | On the basis of analyzing the structure and characteristics of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway Project, the paper expounds the thinking and method of applying the systems engineering principles in organizing the Project, reveals the inherent laws of operation and control of the railway construction system and summarizes the successful experiences gained in construction of the Project. The achievements and inspiration provide a salutary lesson for construction of large-scale railway projects in China. |
