Approach to Structural Features of Telescopic Devices at Beam Ends of Railway Bridge

Telescopic devices at beam ends of railway bridges are important attachments to large span bridges. That should be provided with functions of sliding and support to insure track continuity and smoothness. In this paper, structural features,operating mechanics and performances of various domestic telescopic devices at beam ends of railway bridges are analyzed and compared to improve domestic self-developed telescopic devices. To achieve full independent development of the devices, not only foreign advanced technologies and experiences need to be absorbed,but also the manufacturing accuracy and manufacturing level need to be improved.
