In the competition of modern city, precise design has become an important means of strengthen- ing the soft environment of urban road construction, and it is the inevitable choice to match the generous ur- ban construction of Wuhan and raise the overall quality of the city. Starting from the precise design of mu- nicipal road appurtenant works, such as the detailed structure installation of flat curb and vertical curb, the pavement of sidewalk, the detailed structure of barrier-free facilities and the design of invisible manhole cover, the paper puts forward some thoughts and suggestions of precise design of municipal road in Wuhan in hope of strengthening municipal construction quality, enhancing the overall functionality of municipal in- frastructure and beautifying the city＇s image.
