| Abstract: | This paper discusses the standard dry density of soil, the key factor in the inspection of compaction degree, with results of reliability analyses based on the compaction characteristics. Also, this paper gives a preliminary discussion on common problems in the inspection of the compaction degree and provides suggestions of dealing with the problems. |
