本文应用SWOT方法，对港口信息化的战略环境进行了分析，指出要想在激烈的市场中取胜，港口建设信息化是必然的选择。本文通过制定港口信息化战略目标和构筑战略框架，将港口信息化战略分为“四个层次”和“十三个系统”；阐述了港口信息化战略实施方法与原则。最后，以南方新沙港为例，说明港口信息化战略的实用性与有效性，在港口信息化建设中具有较强的指导作用，对推动企业在市场竞争中获得比较优势有着重要意义。
