Metro depots often cover large area with a number of engineering works,accounted for a large proportion of the entire subway project budget.Continuous improvement on the accuracy of the calculation of the scope of depot works can effectively control the budget.The article describes the advantages and disadvantages of the two different calculation methods for pre-project and later stage of engineering works,by taking Daban depot on Line 6 in Kunming as an example,the two calculation methods both have certain practicality.
