Abstract:CANopen is an application layer protocol developed over CAN(Controller Area Network).Based on the analysis of communication principle of the CANopen protocol,the design and implementation of the communication of the safety computer system is presented according to the communication requirements of the safety computer for rail transit,which includes the design of hardware interface of the CAN nodes as well as the design and implementation of their software.And the safety and reliability of the communication of the safety computer system has been validated via test and on-site operation.
