| Abstract: | In the light of the design characteristics of middle cross beams for the Shengmi Bridge, and technical problems encountered in the construction of the beams, this paper illustrates the technical measures adopted for the critical working procedures of precasting, transverse sliding, loading on board ship and transportation of the beams in the construction, and corresponding solutions to the problems encountered therefrom. |
