The discuss of using cold energy of LNG steam on ship

With the adjustment of world energy configuration, the LNG carriers have developed quickly in recent years. While, during the transportation of LNG, there will be a great amount of cold energy of LNG steam that worth people developing and utilizing. Thus in this paper, we firstly introduce the characteristics of LNG steam, and then discuss the possibility of adopting the cold energy of LNG steam to LNG carrier, such as shipboard provision cold store, sea water desalination and air separation and so on. And then the paper discuss the possibility of this adoption. With further mature of the technology of using cold energy of LNG steam on land, utilizing it on board will come true soon.
