| Abstract: | The paper introduces the current situation and existing hidden troubles of bulk cartier, compares the merits of single-skin and double-skin bulk carriers, and analyzes the development tendency of the ship form of bulk carrier. The design features of the optimal double-skin bulk cartier are discussed, such as controlling the structural weight, optimizing the structure to enlarge the capacity, optimizing the form to raise the rapidity, reasonable arrangement for environment-protection and so on. |
