浅议翻译中信息传递的三维性

翻译是语际间、文化间的交际活动,即是信息传递的过程。该文提出三维信息传递模式:语义层信息传递、文体层信息传递和文化内涵层信息传递。由于语言和文化的差异,信息在传递过程中无论在哪一层次都难免会有或多或少的损失。然而作为一名负责任的译者应尽可能保证信息三维传递的完整性,以提高译作的水平。

Elementary Introduction to Three-dimension Mode of Information Translation in Translation

Translation is a cross-languages and cross-cultures activity, which is also a process of information transference. This paper puts forth a new three-dimension mode of information transference. The mode is composed of transferring in three levels, i.e. information transference at semantic level, information transference at style level and information transference at cultural level. In reality due to the disparities between languages and cultures, information may be lost to some degree at any level of transference. Therefore, any responsible translator should protect the intactness the information transferred at the three above-mentioned levels as much as possible in an attempt to improve the quality of translation.
