Failure Analysis and Reliability Improvement of a Heavy Truck Wire Harness

With the development of society,the number of heavy truck market in China has been rising year after year,customers for the comfort of heavy truck,intelligent demand,the vehicle electrical parts are more and more,followed by the vehicle electrical failure rate is gradually appearing.In the process of driving heavy truck,the electrical system failure often occurs due to the automobile wiring harness problem,which seriously affects the safety of the vehicle.This paper mainly deals with the experience of heavy truck wiring harness wear,lists the typical failure modes of wiring harness in the process of after-sale improvement,analyzes the causes of failure and puts forward effective rectification schemes,which can greatly reduce the after-sale cost of wiring harness and improve the reliability of the vehicle electrical system.
