The Manufacture of Stiff Skeleton of Large-span Reinforced Concrete Arch Bridge

The stiff skeleton method is currently the main construction method of extra large-span reinforced concrete arch bridge. During such construction, the production of steel pipe arch plays the key role. Taking the processing of producing the steel pipe arches of Yungui Railway Nanpanjiang Extra-large Bridge as example, this paper introduces some aspects of stiff skeleton method in detail,including the overall planning, technological preparation, pretreatment of materials, producing processes of the fragments, the assembly of steel pipe arch, and erection assembly of steel pipe arches etc. It is hoped that this paper could offer some references for the further study in this field.
