Analysis on Demolition of Overpass Cast-in-place Concrete Bridge over Railway

Illustrated by the example of Qinhuangdao North Ring Road Railway Overpass demolition, this paper makes a- nalysis of the construction procedure, construction method, construction calculation basis and relevant measures to ensure the safety of railway transportation and construction during the demolition of overpass concrete bridge over the existing rail- way line, and particularly addresses the problems of on-site preparation, manpower, materials and machineries for the pro- ject. The method and precautions during the demolition of bridge structure and components are set out in the construction scheme, with focus on the beam body ＇ s cutting point layout, cutting hole depth, drilling and cutting sequence, calculation methods for lifting and reinforcing of the beam body after it was cut, meanwhile the paper makes explanation to the lifting machinery＇s arrangement, lifting method, stabilized calculation basis and relevant measures adopted to ensure safe con- struction and transport.
