Body Optimization Scheme for the Problem of Insufficient Head Space in the Third Row of MPV

With the implementation of three-child policy,the demand for household 7seats MPV gradually increased in the vehicle market.Limited to the modeling characteristics,vehicle size and seat belt layout,the third-row seat passenger room is too small to make comfortable feeling.Meanwhile,it’s easy to produce a sense of depression.Based on existing limitations,automotive OEMs focuse on maximizing the third-row seat passenger room and improving the riding comfort.This paper introduces a placement scheme of seat belt and a car body design method for enlarging the third-row headroom.
