Application of Lightweight Technology in Machine Tool Design

Abstract:In the process of machine tool design and development,the design concept selected by designers is more traditional.The staff will carry out machine tool design after simple analysis of various factors affecting the working process of machine tool,such as pressure,material hardness and stiffness.Although this design method is efficient,it is rigid and will increase the cost in the design process,Bring greater economic burden to enterprises.At the same time,a very important link in the machine tool design process is the accuracy of the machine tool.If the traditional design method is used,the machine tool structure can only be thickened with the help of raw materials,and then the accuracy of the machine tool can be improved,which will lead to the machine tool becoming more bulky and heavy.After all,a large part of the structure is useless and there are few functional modules.Therefore,this paper will analyze and explore how to apply lightweight technology in machine tool design,hoping to provide ideas for relevant staff,promote the overall improvement of China’s machine tool design level,and contribute to the national economic development.
