| Abstract: | The testing of the welding bogie frames for PW5100 and PW1200 intercity multiple units in the AEF laboratory is described. It is compared with the domestic testing in such aspects as selection of loading conditions, design of testing bench and brackets, arrangement of strain gauges and evaluation of test results. The advanced technologies of strength test for frames in Europe are summarized. |
