| Abstract: | The shortcomings of the link based variational inequality model and the algorithm for ideal dynamic user optimal route choice problems are analyzed with an inclusion indicating the infeasibility of this model for solving the problems of large scale traffic networks. The drawbacks in ideal dynamic user optimal rout choice conditions and the errors in the flow propagation constraint conditions are reviewed in regard to many aspects. |
