Discussion on Flow Directional Reduction in Hydrologic Observation |

| Abstract: | Magnetic declination and meridian conergence is often neglected in construction and research.From the concept of azimuth,the relation between various azimuth angles is descried;the necessity of reduction of flow directional azimuth in hydrologic observation is stated;then, the correction formula is given.And finally,the magnetic corrected (values) of characteristic areas of the sea waters in China is presented. |
