摘    要:通过对209,000吨Newcastlemax散货船货舱纵向划分、下墩用途及压载舱舱容的调整,探讨了各种措施下该船型总纵弯矩的变化情况,以此来改善其总纵强度,为优化船体结构、降低空船重量提供了有利条件。

Study on Improving the Longitudinal Strength of 209,000 DWT Newcastlemax Bulk Carrier
Abstract:Longitudinal strength is an important index to measure the performance of ship design, which is directly affect the hull structure and the deadweight. By using the 209,000 DWT Newcastlemax bulk carrier as an example, this paper provides several methods such as adjusting the longitudinal division of the cargo hold, changing the use of lower stool and altering the volume of water ballast to improve the longitudinal strength. Through the analysis and the investigation, these methods can be used to optimize the hull structure and reduce the lightweight. After all it points out the optimization direction for the total longitudinal strength and provides reference for further study on the relevance subjects.
