科技论文引文量及篇幅对论文质量的影响分析

以2008年部分国内外优秀科技论文为研究对象,对论文引文量和篇幅两个指标进行统计,得到国内期刊论文引文量和篇幅都明显少于国际期刊,相应影响因子也低于国际期刊。分析认为:论文引文量和篇幅偏少不利于科技论文质量的提高。国内科技论文引文量和论文篇幅偏少的主要原因是我国对学术论文标准和要求与国际期刊有差距、作者和编辑的认识和宣传不够。为了提高科技论文撰写质量,建议编辑和作者要强调论文的引用,放宽对科技论文篇幅的限制。

An Analysis of the Impacts of Number of References and Length of Sci-tech Papers on Paper Quality

In this paper, we take some excellent sci-tech papers at home and abroad in 2008 as the research object and make statistics of number of references and length of sci-tech papers. We get a conclusion that domestic journals are obviously less than international journals in number of references and paper length and accordingly the formers are less than the latters in impact factor. Results show that it is not conducive to improve paper quality if number of references and paper length is less. Main reasons for these phenomena are its difference between domestic journals and international journals in academic standards and requirements, deficiency of understanding and publicity for journal editors and authors. In order to improve the quality of sci-tech papers, editors and authors should pay great attentions to number of references and relax restrictions of paper length.
