Study on the Effect of Hull Lines on Wave Force in the Beginning of the Lock Filling |

| Abstract: | In the specification of ship lack design and hydraulic calculation of the ship lock filling and emptying system, the estimation of the ship mooring conditions in the chamber does not take account of the effect of hull lines on wave force, thus causing the conservative calculating result. The auther, based on the experimental research, presents a formula of wave force which includes a block coefficient of displacement. |
