| Abstract: | Medium and Long-term Railway Network Plan （2005 - 2020）： by 2020, China＇s railway network line will more than 120, 000 kilometers. Among which, passenger dedicated lines with speed of over 200 km/h will reach 18,000 km. Coupled with the existing line speed-up, China＇s rapid passenger railway network line will reach more than 50,000 kilometers, connecting all provincial capitals and cities over 500, 000 population, covering more than 90 percent of the population. The main busy lines will running passenger and cargo train respectively. The rate of doubletrack railway and electrified railway will reach 50 percent. |
