Abstract:The article describes the construction technology and the other assisting technologies applied in the construction of the shallow-buried street-crossing underpass underneath Zhongshan square in Wuhan city, which is located in soft and water-rich ground. The major contents described in the article include technology of vacuum dewatering inside the tunnel, technology of double side drift construction method and long pipe roof construction technology.
