Development and Application of Safety Information Management Platform in Zhangjiagang Port

Zhangjiagang port group is a port enterprise that engages in the mass bulk cargo handling and warehou- sing, its operation is very complex in terms of miscellaneous kinds of cargos and many locations on site, so its safety man- agement is difficult. The traditional safety management mode in the past has many disadvantages. Therefore, a new safety information management platform is developed. After the application of this new platform the precision and the efficiency of the management for the work safety are greatly improved. This paper introduces the framework, function, implementation method and characteristics of this platform.
