Research on City Large-span Underground Space Engineering

With the rapid development of exploitation of city underground space,the requirement to design and construction of underground engineering becomes more and more difficult.In this paper,the thought and characteristics of large-span underground engineering are analyzed through studying on new city large-span underground projects in China and those of in foreign countries.Furthermore,research on and summarize the method and technology of these engineering in aspects of survey,site selection,design,construction,planning and etc.The obtained conclusions have some reference to the sustainable development of underground engineering in future.
