| Abstract: | In this paper,a comparative analysis for various developing advanced automotive powerplants is conducted from different point of view such as social needs, technical feasibility,cost performance decision,etc. It is indicated that the most prominent technical feature of the future automotive powerplants is hybrid plus sophisticated control,and the internal combustion engine will still keep the dominant position in the ULEV powerplant hereafter. |
