A Probe into the Development Trend of Gender Language Differences

The research of gender language differences is very common. However, if researchers put most of their attention to gender differences and neglect the common character especially the language feature that it changes as society changes, it will lead to gender stereotypes and failure of communication between men and women. The reason resulting in gender differences lies in social status, social roles, social division of labor and gender culture differences. Obviously, as society advances, the differences between genders will eliminate or even a neutral language will come into being.
