Abstract:The train control system based on vehicle-to-vehicle communication is characterized by minimal wayside equipment, integrated on-board equipment and direct communication between rear vehicle and front vehicle. At present, the system has not been incorporated into train control technical system of domestic and foreign railways and only been studied and applied in metro. This paper makes an in-depth research on the development status of train control technology based on vehicle-to-vehicle communication at home and abroad and puts forward a train control system scheme that is based on vehicle-to-vehicle communication and applicable to the situation of China in accordance with the actual train control system of China railway,emphatically analyzes its basic functions, system architecture and function allocation, and looks forward to the evolution of railway train control technology, which provides significant reference for the progress of western railway construction and train control system in China.
