The complete street scanner is built for the purpose of"connectivity".It is deployed in the form of mobile vehicles on the road network of the future city and manned.With the help of the sensors and car networking functions,the complete street scanner expands its ability to scan,record,and analyze traffic flows,street environments,and pedestrians by running in the road network and become a human settlement environment perception system for future smart cities.When the full street scanner is deployed on a large scale,its role will not only be limited to the transportation field,but will also be deeply involved in the sharing economy,data security,and urban development planning,and has the potential to become a new economic development model.This article focuses on the evolution of the demand for intelligent urban management dimensions from bicycle intelligence to human settlement environment intelligence.From three directions of future traffic management,future city management,and digital economy industry support,the article will explain how complete street scanners meet the needs of future smart cities.At the same time,it also summarizes the conceptual model of the prototype system of the complete street scanner and the demonstration application that has been built.
