| Abstract: | The generation mechanism,features and influencing factors of brake squeal caused by friction-induced vibration are summarized.The theory and research progress on the suppression and prevention measures of brake squeal are reviewed and analyzed.Finally,the idea on development of new friction materials with high damping for reducing brake squeal is pointed out. |
