河南省安阳市作为八大古都之一,随着旅游业快速发展,城市的形象建设也应该提上日程。城市公示语是城市语言环境、人文环境的一个重要组成部分,因此,公示语的翻译也影响着一个城市的对外宣传。交际原则强调翻译的译文以最大限度实现原文的交际目的和功能,该原则适用于公示语这类承载着特定社会文化含义的文本。

Study on C-E Translation of Public Signs in Principles in Communicative Translation

The public signs in cities are an important component of the language environment and human environment of a city. The translation of public signs, therefore, influences the image of a city. The theory of communicative translation emphasizes translation should clear- ly and exactly express the goals and functions of communication. This theory applies to pub- lic signs which carry fixed social and cultural connotation.
