| Abstract: | The main span of Jinghang Canal Bridge, the Contract 17 of Xinyi-Changxing Railway, is an 80-m span through steel truss girder bridge with a single track. In this paper, the erection of the 80-m span railway steel truss girder of the Bridge by the floating method is presented in considerable details in aspect of the theoretic calculation, practical assembling and implementation, and the environment conditions the floating method can be applicable are summarized as well. |
