| Abstract: | This paper introduces the method to solve the short-circuit problem of motor on the basis of coupled field-circuit time-stepping method. It analyzes the short-circuit condition of a eighteen phase permanent magnet brushless direct current motor in the ANSYS environment, and verifies the method through the comparing of experiment data to analysis results. |
