| Abstract: | This article describes one coastal car ferry with one-way propulsion system and roll-on/roll-off from bow and stern design.The resistance performance of its kind is much better than that of a ship-form with two-way propulsion system,while keeping the advantage of quick roll-on/roll-off of cars for a two-way propulsion ferry.By operation of the bow thruster,the ferry is easy and convenient for arrival and departure of quay. |
