基于信息量的交通标志信息表达方式比较研究

从信息传递角度详细分析几种不同的公路出口交通标志信息表达方式的特点及实用性，并建立交通标志信息的概念模型，利用信息论的信息度量方法，分别计算出口名标志和出口编号标志传递的信息量，发现出口编号标志传递的信息量大于出口名标志，信息传递效率优于出口名标志，故倡导广泛科学地使用出口编号标志，加快交通标志系统的数字化进程，促进交通标志的信息化和国际化发展。

Modes of Information Expression of Traffic Sign Based on Information Volume

It introduces and analyzes the characteristic and applicability of several modes of information expression of the exit sign based on the information transmission. In the study, a traffic information concept model is formulated, and the information volume（IV） of naming exit sign and numbering exit sign is calculated with the method of information measurement. The results show that the IV and information transmission efficiency of the numbering exit sign is greater than the naming exit sign, so is information transmission efficiency better. It is necessary to adopt the numbering exit sign to step up the digital process and advance the informatization and internationalization of traffic sign.
