| Abstract: | This paper introduced GIS technology into urban traffic planning, developed GIS-supporting system which has been successfully applied to the Synthetic Traffic Planning of Zhengzhou City. It has been demonstrated in practice that the development of this system made urban traffic planning more practical to operate and more vividly and directly to observe. This paper also introduced overall structure, content, function, use and tools involved in the system. |
