| Abstract: | This text analyzed the current situation of wind resistance for large-scale quayside container cranes and the basic reason of disaster caused by a windstorm accident. By use of finite element software ANSYS to analyze the advantage and disadvantage of the crane's boom up and down, the conclusion would be benefit for the wind resistance work for the quayside container cranes. |
